·        Apply rock engineering systems, standards, and tools to support safe and efficient mining operations.

·        Conduct routine, ad-hoc, and requested inspections to assess rock mass conditions and evaluate the effectiveness of control plans.

·        Monitor compliance with support and excavation standards and recommend corrective actions where necessary.

·        Participate in planning and production meetings (daily, weekly, and monthly) to provide rock engineering input.

·        Provide coaching and guidance to mining personnel during routine inspections to enhance compliance and awareness.

·        Respond promptly to monitoring triggers and report findings to the Mine Manager and Rock Engineer using the quickest available communication method.

·        Assist in proactively identifying significant ground-related hazards and recommend mitigation measures.

·        Participate in or support investigations of fall-of-ground incidents and reportable events

·        Completing the rock engineering components of official accident reports.

·        Providing input for the SAMRASS 3 report.

·        Professional Development: Actively work toward obtaining the Rock Engineer Certificate of Competency.

·        Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate reports to the MRM Department and RESS in a timely manner
